About Us

 

Carl Feryok:

 

Highly accomplished photographer in DSLR formats.  He integrates the necessary technical aspects of photography with artistic passion in order that the motivational aspects of the work transmits the marketing messages required in advertising.

 

Carl has his BA in fine arts from Pratt Institute in NYC and has excelled in various design studios in Manhattan. As a freelance advertising designer and advertising marketing executive he completed extensive work with such major clients as; Hearst Magazines, Atlantic Records, among others.


Carl has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and Latin America primarily as a tourist. With his knowledge of consumer motivation through photographic images, he gained considerable insight into destination photography and video. He established a freelance photography business including work for USAID, United States Golf Association, DK Publishing, and Enslow Publishing where the incorporation of still and video were integral to delivering to the client a fully interactive motivational marketing product.


Carl, and his partner, Kristin McCarthy formed DMM as a freelance operation in 2003 and have since created varied multimedia projects from interactive direct marketing business applications to travel logs to educational promotional interactive projects.

 

Kristin McCarthy:

 

Kristin is not only an accomplished video editor, but also a publishing Art Director and outstanding multimedia designer. Observing the way information and media are being distributed currently in the world today, she decided to learn more about the growing multimedia field—bringing words, images, video, and audio/music to life. She has applied her talents to manage projects from international organizations to local businesses and various universities and educational institutions.


Originally graduated with a BA in Anthropology (major) / Archaeology (minor) from Drew University, she also has a strong background in art and composition, which led to pursuing a career as an art director in children’s nonfiction publishing. She never lost that passion of history and the past, and over the years, has strived to pursue designing books that would bring those topics alive to younger audiences. Kristin has worked on Librarian awarded books that have involved prominent illustrators in dinosaur paleontology such as Michael Skrepnick, as well as, world-renowned underwater photographer - Norbert Wu.
